A8 4.2 Modifications
Hi,
I have anA8 4.2 S-Line 2004,
I'm trying to find some modifications like Headers, Air Filter, or a Chip,
but at the same time I don't want to lose my warranty, so I should choose parts from ABT or MTM,
are there any companies trusted other than these two??.. like Dinan for BMWs for example.
thank you

RE: A8 4.2 Modifications
understand that ANYing you modify on your car can void your warranty. If that is a hadr limit, for you, you might wanna wait'll your warranty is up, pay for an aftermarket extended warranty, and begiin modding at that time

RE: A8 4.2 Modifications
As much as the manufacturers would have you beileve otherwise, the products they put out ARE compromises. When we MOD we attempt to redress those compromises visited on us by the weak, spineless corporate bean-counters by up-grading those things that were down-graded for market acceptability. Mostly a distinct LACK of POWER. Sometimes suspension. Brakes, too! Almost always sounds, but, less so, lately.
The ONE thing there is no KNOWN Mod for, is fixing teh nut-behind-the-wheel. The single MOST defective part in any given car on teh roads, today.
