Default A8 -95 Flasher/Turn signal/Blinker act as Emergency flasher

I tried to search the forum for this, but could not find any similar issue.

Today when driving to work the flasher/turn signal acts strange.
When I turn the lever to blink left or right all four turn signals goes on including the left and right above the instruments go on as if I have pressed the emergency flasher button.
In other words, no matter which side I turn the turn signal lever
all 4 turn signals and the 2 inside the car go on flashing.
This started today after working perfect until now.
When I'm not turning the lever everything is fine (no turn signal on)

Could it be the relay?
Could it be the lever itself?
Is there any central grounding that could cause this?

Thanks!

Is it JUST the indicators, or do all four corners actually light up? My thinking is that it's prolly the swicth (turn stalk), or the relay. Relay's easier to replace (I believe), so, being lazy, I'd start with that...
