Audi A8 D2 OBD / Cruise control questions
Hey guys! I just got an Audi A8 D2 97 model 2.8 V6 193 HP non quattro. I have some quick questions if someone can help me out. Because asking Audi Netherlands will bring a **** storm as always.
1) Does the A8 use OBD II protocol? I want to get a bluetooth OBD connector and use it with Torque app (Android).
2) My car has the cruise control controller in the steering wheel column. Although i opened up the hood and the ECU panel but there is no cruise control module. Does that mean my car has no cruise control or it just needs to be enabled with VAG COM? (I think drive by wire didn't need the cruise control module)
3) My automatic gearbox **** has wore out by the previous owner. Should I get a replacement for D2 or D3 **** retrofits as well?
4) Brake pads yellow warning is flashing up. Brake pads are new though.I guess the last owner didnt replace the brake pads with the original ones which support the brake pad sensor. Should I just cut the wire of the sensor and connect it together? Or get original brake pads? (I think they are really expensive in the Netherlands).
Thanks for anyone who can help me out. I just got the car and im trying to sort things out.
