Front Bumper Removal help
I parked to far over a curb and the bottom of my front bumper cought and popped out of track (the slide in tracks on each side of the bumper). I believe I will have to remove the bumper far enough to re-slide the bumper onto its track. Any help on what/where the bolts are would be very helpful. Thanks

RE: Front Bumper Removal help
Its pretty much the same as an A6 on that model year, take off the wheels and remove the fender liners, then remove any torx bolts you see behind the fender liner, then you have to pull out the lower grille covers out and remove the two large allan support bolts that go upwards through the bumper beam. Now you should be able to pull the bumper off of the car.

RE: Front Bumper Removal help
When you have replaced the front bumper, don't forget to fix the cause. I had the body shop put 5 bolts up through the skid plate to bolts fixed to the inside of the plate above it (which must be removed to change oil, etc). The skid plate is only about 8-9 inches front to rear and it starts just a few inches back from the back end of the front grill.
Another trick --if you ever again feel the car hung up on a curb, have some heavyweight sit on the truck lid while you c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y back it off.
