I posted in the Newbie forum but wanted to post with the rest of the 'Big Audi' owners. After sitting around admiring A8s for several years, I've finally taken the plunge and purchased a 98' A8 with all sorts of tricked out goodies. The former owner had most installed and was really great to deal with. Here's a list of the options on my car. Feel free to e-mail me for details and I'll see what I can do to fill you in on where to get them for yourself! Since I didn't install them, nor have I driven any other A8s (other than test drive) I can't claim if the performance options work.. but I will say that the thing Pulls like a locomotive when going from say 80-100. It also has a great ride (I think anyway) that can be termed 'agressive'. To be honest, it handles like my friend's A4 Sport! The Phatnoise system is pretty trick as well. It actually has a synthesized voice which tells you the current playlist.

hey gapa id like to talk to you about the rims you have on your car hit me up,

i just bought myself an Audi A8 1998 wanna put on some mods aswell on it and i was wondering if you know where to get The Front and rear bumper chrome trim like they have on the 2000+ a8's or if anyone knows as a matter of fact..?

thanks gapa but im not looking for the chrome grill the chrome strip they have on there front and back bumpers its a small line u can see it on the 200+ audis right under the headlight..

The Ski Sock? I'm assuming you mean the pass through?
Like I mentioned before.. I didn't do any of the work, the previous owner did. I know he had the Soundsystem (amp and Sub) professionally installed, so I'm guessing a Car Audio place did the work.
