Hi there! I am new to the Audi (and German automotive) community as of last weekend after purchasing a new 2015 Q5. I am really loving it so far!

I have read through the owner's manual and searched online but can't seem to figure out one issue I'm having with the navigation system. If I DON'T have a destination set and just move the joystick, some crosshairs appear so I can advance to a forward location to see traffic ahead of my arrival. Doing this also changes the right side screen options. How do I extinguish the crosshairs and get the right side menu back to displaying the previous options, like elevation, etc?

When you figure it out, please let me know. I've owned my Q5 for 5 years now and I still haven't figured that one out.

 

Actually, last week I found the solution by accident. Press the BACK button.

 

press the back button
