Default Operation: Fuel saving

Hi
This is my first post in this forum, maybe cause i just bought a Q7 ;-)

Im a big fan of V8's and been driving Lincoln Navigator, Dodge RAM etc etc, but never an european luxury V8 car. I must say that i'm really impressed by the Q7!

We all know that the fuel prices are really f*cked up these days, know, if you can't afford it don't buy it. But i just can't resist the sound and the feeling of a V8.

So, after looking around i realized that there are tons of OEM and retrofit products out there. This makes me happy:-)

This thread is all about saving fuel and driving the car at the lowest possible rate. I know theres a lot that can be done here. If anyone here has done something to save fuel, please share so we can come up with the best possible solution.

My current settings:
Audi Q7 2007 FSI V8 257kw
MMI 2G High
20" 275-45-50 tires

Current fuel consumption(swedish, english and US):
Highway: 11 L/100km | 25,7 mi/gallon | 21,4 mi/gallon
City: 16 L/100km | 17,6 mi/gallon | 14,7 mi/gallon
Mixed: 14 L/100km | 20,1 mi/gallon | 16,8 mi/gallon

Tunings:
None (so far)

The next step will be to either order some kind of chip trim/OBD module or leave my car to a local car tuning company for a little engine optimization.

Then i'm thinking K&N air filter for power and fuel saving: K&N air filter
