Default Potential new Audi owner - Seeking opinions on 2.0 and 3.0 engines

I'm currently comparing the Q7 Premium Plus against the '17 Volvo XC90 R Design, but leaning 80/20 toward the Q7. Would love to hear people's thoughts and feedback on whether to go with the 2.0 versus the 3.0. Love the idea of saving $6,500 but wondering what others who own or have experience with both think.

I really wanted to buy the new Volvo XC90, but shied away when I read a few very negative online posts from owners that were having all kinds of reliability issues. The new XC90 is a gorgeous and technically advanced vehicle, but in my opinion, Volvo didn't spend enough time validating this completely new design prior to production release. Perhaps the 2018 models will start to show better reliability.

So I bought a 2017 Audi Q7 Prestige with the 3.0 engine. Very happy. I bought the 3.0 engine because I will be towing a small camper trailer, but I love the 3.0 for everyday driving.

Thanks for the guidance here. Very helpful as I decided on 2.0 vs 3.0. After test driving, made sense to go with a 2.0L which perfectly meets my needs (predominantly urban driving with family/friends).

Very happy with the power and all the features. Got a Premium Plus with Drivers Assistance and Vision Package (definitely recommend these).

Regardless of the trim and packages, this a vehicle you will not regret

3.0 is so greater than 2.0. Once you drive it you will feel the difference. I recommend 3.0 without a doubt.. If you can afford the money, get it
