so my flex joint broke and i need to take my center driveshaft out for replacement. i took the 6 bolts that are right at the middle but still doesnt come out. does anyone know how to remove this from vehicle? thanks in advance
so here is the pic of the problem.
1st the 3 boltd that hold the driveshaft broke. the ones on the tranny side were fine.
second the broken piece that looks welded goes inside at the end of the driveshaft. what exactly is that piece? does that mean my axle needs replacement or is it just part of the flex joint?

I only removed the bolts at the rear to swap my diff, 3 bolts to attach to the flange for the Haldex, then slide it forward to get it off the flange. Id guess the front half is the same setup.

yea problaby. on the front part is also 3 bolts in which are broken so its basically off lol, then you have in the middle a couple with 6 bolts but still wont slide out. so i am guessing that maybe i need to keep going further back untill i can find the other 3 bolts to get it off you said by the haldex right?

That doesn't make much sense based off of what I had to do, and acomplished. All I unbolted was the flex disk from the flange on the Haldex LSC, and pulled the shaft forward. It dropped off.
