Did any of the MKI TTs come with block heaters as a factory option? My car does not have one but I am in need of one and was wondering if it was a factory part or if people have used an aftermarket solution.

Any ideas or suggestions on where to get one?

 

not a factory option that i know of. I'm sorta considering one as well. I know a guy with one installed on his Legacy, but I don't know if that was a universal fit. See most online on Jeep sites, $20-30 bucks

 

Most block heaters are universal. I would look into oil heaters too.

 

oil heater is actually what i was thinking, didn't really specify though. good call.

a little uncertain about them though. an oil fueled electrical short under the hood in the middle of the night could be bad....
