I cant seem to find any info on this code. Never seen it before. If it comes back you may have a leak at the map sensor. That is my best guess. But are you even boosting below what you should?

that does make a little sence... im running 15 lbs but i kinda rigged up the map sensor and put it on a vacumn line off the intake manifold and ever since the cars been running a little funky... i gotta find a way to put that in the direct flow... or maybe even some wires touched from the diode mod... i didnt wrap up the diode i kinda wanted it to be exposed... i know they can get a little hot.

i know on my buddies car tho the map sensor worked fine off of his vacumn manifold, he had it screwed right in, but then again it was tuned with it like that with a standalone ECU

e-bay intercooler... i did have it on my intercooler pipes but the pipe kept blowing off so i went to a muffler shop and got one bent... i ghetto rigged the intercooler setup but 250 bucks total for a complete FMIC setup... i used radiator hose and cut up some pipe's for the setup... its holding 15lbs and im slowly turning it up to 20... but the pipe i put a map flange on and had the map sensor in kept blowing the 90* bend off so i got a muffler shop to make me a pipe and its working great, just the map sensor is now stuffed in a vacumn line off the intake manifold, i gotta go get the flange welded on to the new pipe instead...

Sooner the better. Also, a little trick is that if you spray the pipe ends with hairspray if will hold much better when it dries.

thanks for the help... ill take it to a shop as soon as i get off work... tell you how it works afterwords...
hey cincy have you done the engine bay clean up, with taking out the SAI, N249, PCV, EVAP

http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3111538

im wondering cause i didnt remove the evap yet because we have slightly different parts then the VW's and was wondering what we can take out instead

edit: I didnt do the PCV edit either, nor did i take out the combi valve, just waiting on a SAI blockoff plate from IE. but i do have it completely disconnected, the SAI, hardlines, vac manifold, and n249 are all out tho, and it does clean up the engine bay a LOT

The set up is the same from the vw to the audi 1.8t. I havent done to much, just a catch can. Just make sure you dont need to pass emissions. You will fail if you take out most of that stuff and take longer for your car to warm up.
