Default eliminator?

I was searching around for a BT kit or upgrade and i have seen/heard alot of people and websites talking about the eliminator series from garrett. what the differecnce between this for 2grand and say an apr or del rio or some other kit that cost 5-7grand? i know apr come with dp and other stuff but the eliminator said "direct bolt on"

First its not from garrett, its a mutated and tortured garrett turbo done by ATP. Put it this way, the turbos fit like ****, the have about 400rpms of extra lag, the power is no where near the regular garrett of the same name and after you spend all the money for the stuff, you could of just spent a tad more for a real kit and got the power you should of had. Plus the stock manifold sucks and the replacement stock manifold only helps a little, and since you need to buy a new manifold, your price just jumped more.

Arnold at pagparts can build you a kit for less than those and will perform as good or better for less $$. Also if money is tight, you should look into a t3 or t3t4 turbo, they are $600 instead of $1100-1300. A t3t4 50trim kit from pagparts is just over $3k for everything including fueling and tuning

There is not a bolt on turbo besides the elim and thats far from a bolt on.

The pag kits depend on the turbo and housing used. If you go with Apr or Del Rio your stuck with a T25 housing and a 2871r as a limit. With pagparts you can get any setup you want from a t3 60trim -t3t4 50trim - gt28r - all the way to a gt35r with either a T25 or T3 housing. So in other words you have many options and all housing possiblities. People make 300whp with t3 60/gt28rs kits and 400whp + with gt3071r and gt3076r kits and even 300-350whp with 50trim kits.

So when i say custom kit, i mean not mixmatched parts but EXACTLY what your want and for a far better price.

Forgot the K04-001[&:] but it's not much better than a k03. If I remember it's like +20whp tops or so.

And yeah don't touch the elim. It costs more than just buying a damn manifold in money, labor and performance.

Are all 180's K03 sports? I've heard mixed responses to this I figure you have a straight answer.

what are the different numbers in the turbo for? For instance, gt2871r, gt3071r, 3076r... the first two numbers are what? compressor size? ... and the second two numbers are what? turbine size?

I guess I'm just curious about how these two numbers correlate to power output and turbo spool. 2871 and 3071 both have the last two numbers the same... but the first two are different... so there IS a difference... but what is it and what is the impact of it? Additionally, gt3076r and gt3071r, FIRSt two numbers are the same... but the LAST two are different... so whats the difference and the impact of THIS difference? I know these are measurements of some kind... I just dont know which is which and which one affects what.
