Fuel cut off switch?

Fuel cut off switch?
I know it's a required safety feature, but after tearing up Bentley, and the other forums I can't find anything...
Unless that's the job of the fuel pump relay.
I ask because the shop that is doing the repairs to my car cannot get her started.
They think the spark plugs may have gotten fouled by trying to start it so much... I'm not convinced that's the problem.
My car has been started twice since the accident with no problem, but I'm thinking that could have just been the fuel that was in the line.
Now that the fuel in the lines is burned up, I'm thinking that's why my car won't start.
Any insight, thoughts, concerns, all much appreciated!

RE: Fuel cut off switch?
I know when I had a truck (Ford Ranger), there was a magnetic emergency cutoff relay. . . in case of an impact, the magnetic mechanism would do it's thing and cut off the fuel.
Since you got into a bang bang... perhaps this happened to your baby. Then again, I'm not sure if we have that type of stuff in the TT.

RE: Fuel cut off switch?
I remember a thread a long time ago about aTT owner that launched his car 100ft across a ditch into a field. Couldn't get it started, turned out to be a cutoff somewhere.
I'm searching for the thread but having issues.

RE: Fuel cut off switch?
I had issues with my fuel pump and I never found a cutoff switch. On most vehicles they're in the trunk and fairly accessible, I searched around my car and searched around bentley etc never found it.

Bentley
For fuel pump relay -J17- to close, it is required that engine is turning.
This means that the relay does not receive ground (via ECM) until the ECM recognizes RPM signals.

If not I'd check the relay then the pump itself.
