Question how to replace licence plate bulb?

Has anyone got any idea on how to replace the licence plate bulb? Manual says have it fitted by a qualified mechanic but surely it can't be that difficult? We have had a look but can only see two plastic plates by the bulbs that look as if they need to be removed, but can't see a way to do it.

Help please?

The lenses slide towards each other, then drop out, or can be pried out. Can be difficult to move if you live somewhere with grimy winters that load the little tracks with dirt.

I broke both of mine the first time trying to do it, just be careful while you're prying on them. Ended up getting replacements fairly cheap (in case you do break them lol).
