1. Buy maf cleaner and clean your maf
2. Check vac lines
3. Check 02 sensors

In that order.

Thanks jake
I clean the sh** out of the MAF many times ....nadda
I bought both O2 sensors not too long ago (maybe it went bad again)
how do i check the o2 sensors?
I had a local mechanic check for vac leaks... didnt find anything
Whats the best way to check it?
is it possible that the injectors are dirty? (anything to do with it?)
One more thing... i bought a cheap air intake last summer and it seemed to be oily
do you guys think that the engine sucked in some of that oil and its causing something to the injectors?
When i took the MAF off to clean it, one of the hoses (the one going into the engine was oily and alil grimey...so I dont know
any help??? aggggrr
the STEALER did not find anything and raped me with $90 for nothing

The oilled air filter killed you maf. Ditch that intake and replace, not clean, your maf. I bet that would fix it.

yeah, go get yourself a dry flow filter. And you miwar want to replace your maf. I had 68k miles on my maf before I replaced it. It was much needed, the car runs great now. Cleaning it never really did anything for me. I've actually been getting the same code, but rich instead of lean. I can't figure it out. If I goes off again, audi is gonna hav. To figure it out. My warranty is up in April

I spent a good three months chasing that code down and eventually gave up. I checked hoses, cleaned then replaced the maf. Had the Audi specialist look into it and they traced it to a hose underneath the intake manifold.. Its been only a week and I am crossing my fingers
