"SAFE" mode on the radio every time I turn off my car!
I have a 03 TT Quattro stock raido. Every time I turn off the car and pull the keys out it turns to SAFE mode and I have to put the code in. Any ideas?

The wire that supplies memory power to the radio "at all times", is not. As long as the key is in, the radio gets power. When the key is removed, the memory power lead keeps your radio from losing its mind.
I think your battery is fine. If it were the battery you would not be able to start the car. Your battery cables should be fine too since they would also affect starting ability. The memory in the radio takes so little current to maintain, it would fail long after the starter would from the same condition.
It might be as simple as a lose plug on the back of the radio. Or it could be a wire break somewhere hidden which could be $$$$ to find. If it is the later, it might be simpler to find a new source for the radio to get the power constant.
