Im planing on removing my stock bose amp.. where the hell is it located???

 

On a coupe it's located under the panel on the passenger side in the back seat, same panel that has the first aid kit.

Yep. If you gently pop the panel out near the backside of the passenger doorjam, the panel is just held in ith little clips. the clips will just pop out if you pull on it. Once you have the lanel off, the amplifier is mounted toward the rear-most area behind the panel. Almot right beside the backseat backrest. there's a cross-beam (stringer maybe) that runs from that back quarter window down diagonally little bit and its mounted to that. It's easy to see. It's black, about 9"x3"x4" and it has heatsoak fins on the top of it and cables coming out.

Goodluck and don't lose any of the little clips that hold on the panel. there's like 10-15 of them for each panel in the backseat and you need at least 7 of them to get the panel to stay on. they like to slide out of their spots when you pop the panel loose and fall down in between the seat. Just slide them back in and you're good to go.

hi there i have the same problem when i open the radio scratch horrible noises comes out of the front left speaker , i like to access the amplifier back i don't know how to open the panels any tips or should o try to open the door panel to access the speaker? thanks i hope to hear from you soon i just got the audi tt 2007
