Default any good GPS mounting solutions?

I searched around for a good way to mount a GPS in my 03' tt but I didnt come across any solutions that I cared much for. I have a few ideas of my own but i was wondering if anyone had experience with this or pics of some mounting solutions that don't suck.

Thanks guys. I'm thinking I'll put it below the ashtray between those knee pad things. Probably on some sort of swivel so i can still access behind it.

I filled my ash tray with silicone, cut a DVD case to fit the tray, attached the circular disk to that and put the suction cupp'ed arm onto the disk to have a stealth factory look. Check my profile for pics

It is nothing fancy, but it works great for me....I have a sticky back disc thats super smooth on the other side. I put it on my dash on the driver side in the corner towards the wind shield as far back possible. My gps has a suction cup attachent which adheres to the smooth disc, since the oem dash texture wont grab it. I like it because it is at my level of sight, ie I dont have to lookk down or up to see it well, and its not a permament mod, though it holds in all cold or hot conditions, and if I want to take the gps out, to not encourage theft, all that remains is a small black plastic disc, which when it comes time to remove it for good, I can just peel back and clean up with some goo b gone.
