Hey Guys, replaced the head and timing belt after a water pump failure... Replaced head , timing belt, water pump and a lot of knuckle busting.... After I fire the car up it runs pretty well at RPM's greater than 1k (smooth not missing) but will not Idle and generates a P1340 code... The replacement head was resurfaced and I under stand that will change the clearance and placement a little.. I'm off a half tooth on the cam gear when I line the crank up via the hole at the flywheel... It is currently 1/2 tooth retard from the cam mark on the valve cover. I moved the gear a tooth forward and the same result.. Should I pursue an adjustable cam gear to dial it in? Thanks Chuck
