Default 01 turbo help!

i have a 2001 a4 b5 with the 1.8t and my turbo just went out so im looking for an aftermarket one. i have been looking at 034motorsports' website. now im looking for something thats in the 2,000 to 2,500 range and i would like 250 to 300 whp. any suggestions? now with 034 they have 3 set ups im interested in 1.8T Quattro Garrett Turbo Kit, GT2X, 1.8T Quattro GT28RS Turbo Kit , and Complete Longitudinal 1.8T Eliminator Turbo Kit w/ Software & Fueling. does anyone have experience with these kits and what else would i need or can i just replace the stock turbo with one of these and call it good and upgrade the intake ect later? thanx!

Just to make sure all of the bases are covered, if you're going to upgrade from the stock K03 turbo, these are all things which should be considered:

-turbocharger
-exhaust manifold (stock exhaust manifold isn't very good beyond a chipped K03)
-fueling (injectors + fuel pressure regulator)
-ECU tune
-upgraded exhaust, from turbo-back
-depending on the turbo, you may need new coolant and/or oil lines
-turbo inlet pipe (dependent on turbo selection)
-mass air flow sensor housing (depending on tune)
-upgraded intercooler, preferably a front-mount intercooler (FMIC)

Then there are general supporting mods which should strongly be considered if not already performed:
-stiffer suspension
-upgraded brakes, at least in the front (such as the OEM BBK - A8 rotors and TT caliper carriers)
-new engine mounts, stiffer if that's what you'd desire
-upgraded snub mount

The FrankenTurbo option is the best one without spending too much $$$ IMO. And this is the best kit I've seen:
'One Click' Complete Frankenturbo Kit for Longitudinal 1.8T Applications, Turbo Kits, Forced Induction, FrankenTurbo Products & Other Performance Aftermarket Auto Parts - North American Motorsports
That doesn't address exhaust or FMIC, though, which are the only 2 other things needed to make a "proper" turbo upgrade.

frankenturbo.com

its pretty much a reworked k04 and can get you to about 220-240ish awhp. i just say frankenturbo cause it is relatively cheap. only $1100 for a new turbo, manifold and intake boot

edit^ made my descirption look like ****

The kit is available at:
F21L hybrid turbocharger kit for longitudinal 1.8T

You'll have to shop around for injectors, but I like to buy from Mike @ Ringer Racing:
Ringer Racing

The turbo locking tab (important IMO) is here:
034Motorsport | Performance Parts for Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen

Gaskets and stuff can be found at many places. One easy-to-shop store is ECS Tuning:
Audi B5 A4 Quattro 1.8T - ECS Tuning

The boost-limiting MBC is here:
No title
VW Audi 1.8L & 2.0L Turbo Over Boost Solution Kit : Amazon.com : Automotive VW Audi 1.8L & 2.0L Turbo Over Boost Solution Kit : Amazon.com : Automotive

You have many options for a tune. You'll have to do some research to find out what will work best for you. Also keep in mind that the tune you choose will dictate which injectors to select.
