I just bought a 01 a4 last week. The radio was in safe mode so I took it to the dealer to get unlocked and so they did. It comes on but I have no sound comming from any of the speakers. I checked the fuses and they are all good. I checked in the back of the radio to make sure everything is plugged in and it is. My only guess its the amp but I need a second opinion before I decide to buy another amp. Please help.me out guys . Thanks

 

I am guessing you have the bose system then? Well if you do it is odd that the amp would be not working, those things are usually pretty bullet proof. Do you even have the amp in the car? Or is it even plugged in? It would be in the trunk on the driver's side. If you have a multi meter you could turn the radio on and then test for power coming through the big harness plug that connects into the bose amp. If no power is coming through that plug you have head unit or wiring issues. I power is coming to that plug you could possibly have a faulty amp. That's the best I have for you man.

 

Yes I do have the amp . I'll look into that tommorow than. Any idea what wires give power to it?
