That ugly little Audi emblem on the side fenders below the markers are horribly disgustingly ugly. I've had my car now for 7 months and I can't stop staring at that thing. Has anyone ever taken their out??? If you did, what do you do about the hole in there? Another thing, can I replace the square marker for a facelift rectangle one?

Damn I spent next to 3 months searching for those emblems and finally won them on auction yesterday.

As for removing it, worst case scenario is you cut out the oval, weld in a new piece sand it down and repaint the fenders.

Mine don't even have the audi on it anymore. It's just plain silver emblem. There's no other emblem I can put over it?

 

That is soooo much trouble for a little thing lol

 

Hey 2.8tuner, yours looks different....is that the original emblem or is it the side marker that is different?

 

my emblems are shaved now, my sidemarkers are square and smoked

 

Other than not having that emblem there I think the only worst thing would be missing wheel caps.........

 

Yeaaa I guess. My car has just sooo many cosmetic flaws....I've managed to get all front and fenders painted and many scratches removed. Previous owner was a woman so that explains all scratches and dents. At least it wasnt driven hard so that saved me mechanically excpet a couple of oil leaks I got right now, warped rotors, really bad shocks and springs.... I might just leave it the way it is and get some clear markers...
