Default Best way to change upper control arms/rear tie rods

This up coming weekend I will be doing some suspension work, I looked at the upper control arms and there is pretty much so room up there... I was wondering if anyone has a secret for helping to get those suckers off with out taking out the strut? Also has anyone changed the rear tie rods? If so any suggestions on the easiest way to get those off?

I never touched the rears but worked on the fronts several times. A box/open end wrench and a 17mm(I think) socket should just barely fit back in there. The biggest problem will be the pinch bolt hold the control arms to the hub assembly. I know ImTheDevil had fun with it and so did I. The way I did it was I soaked it in Deep Creep, cut one end off the bolt, drilled a bowl into the bolt, then hammered it out with a punch and a hammer. Either way you'll destroy the bolt most likely. I think a 9/16" Grade 8 from Lowe's fits in there nicely.
