Default Clean Your Climate Controller!!

I would like to show an effective and easy method to clean your sticky buttons on your Climate Controller (this also includes the radio buttons). If you are able to search and find the directions on removing the climate controller, then +1 to you, I am not going to make an essay out of this.
Unfortunately I forgot some specific details, but I do remember some screws holding the assembly together on the back side, so you can seperate the electronics from the buttons on the front.
Ultimately, you will need to soak the buttons in soap, and possibly spray with simple green to loosen up the soda stuck within.
I did this with my previously owned '01 A4, and worked like a charm, no need to purchase another climate controller, and lets face it, if I got another climate controller, it would be sticky too. Its that damn dash cup holder causing all the problems.

OH!!!!!!! Make sure you let it dry out before installing.

Good idea! I just used a paper towel sprayed with fantastik but i feel like your method would be more thorough.

I have come across numerous A4's that I have purchased that have this problem. Some worse than others. My most recent A4's climate controller was really bad, so I really had to disassemble it to do a good job.

Mine is sticky from the previous owner spilling something. I need to remove it and clean it too. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have a coin slot from I think an A6 where my cupholder is supposed to be. But from the PO I get the sticky HVAC buttons, I use lemon pledge to get them unstuck but it only works for a little while. I guess I have to do this.

An essay is a simple form of writing, but there are a lot of factors to consider when writing. For example, the reader of your essay will first of all want to understand what kind of person you are, what position you hold concerning the topic under discussion, and how you speak the literary language. I need someone to help me write my essay. I would like to find good online services like WriteMyEssays. I know they usually have authors who specialize in different themes.
