Haldex Clutch – change oil & filter??
I was looking at the maintenance schedule for my 2001 A4 1.8tqm and I saw that every 20k we are supposed to change the oil filter on the Haldex clutch?.. What's all that about?
Also, im at 165,000km and I've had the car since 110,000km. What should I be looking at changing?
So far this is what i've done.
- Cleaned throttle body (130k)
- Timing belt (110k)
- All pads and rotors (140k)
- Rear wheel bearing
- new plugs (140k)
- new turbo (165k)
- engine speed sensor (133k)
- oil and filter every 5k (Castrol Syntec 5w40 w/ bigOEM oil filter)
- cabin air filter
- all coil packs
I haven't done a brake fluid flush, a coolant flush, or a tranny fluid change since I've owned the car. Should I get these things done?? I want to do some maintenance because the car is very solid and drives like new (CA and suspension are original and very tight) and I want to keep this car for another 2-3 years.

RE: Haldex Clutch – change oil & filter??
TT's use Haldex and A4's run a Torsen System. The Haldex does have a filter and it needs it and fluid changed about every 20k miles. You are looking at the wrong info.
