Default Window washer reservoir/headlight washers

So I know this is a common problem, but I have a question that I couldn't find the answer to. I have a leak at the reservoir, which I though was the O ring, but I changed it and it still leaks. Could it be the motor and is it the same motor for the headlight washers? I can manually pull up the headlight washers and I can see fluid going back into the reservoir, but they won't work when I try to use them.

Any advice?
Thank you

The wipers and headlight washers use two different pumps. The pumps do fail and can leak. Changing the "O" ring was a good idea, but apparently didn't work. There are several places this POS can leak. At the level sensor, either of the two pumps, at the line feeding the windshield nozzles hardens and loses it's seal and of course the lines to the head light washers can become disconnected or cut (unlikely). I had to remove my reservoir and fill it with fluid to try and identify where mine was leaking. Mine was leaking at the headlight washer pump "o" ring, but also at one of the connections in the line to the head light washer.

Take out the reservoir and fill it up. Even if it doesn't leak you will have at least eliminated most of the possible issues.
