Hi am hoping some one could help me out, my heater control motor flap is becoming intermittent I can locate the motor under the glove box but am unsure on how to remove the control motor from the car.
Any help would be appreciated thanks..

Pete, ya gotta remove the whole center console so you can get to the little duct that connects to the ducts that go to the floor under the back seats. You'll see what I mean, but the central flap motor is behind that.

Oh, and if you have a 96 it's a little different.

Ha I see yea mine is 96 I can see the motor when I remove the glove box and I can see its operation when it's working as its a intermittent fault, I can see what appears to be 3 bolts or screws securing it in place, can I not just remove these and then remove the motor or am I missing something.

Isn't it accessible by just removing the glove box on some years? You said 96 is different, I remember this conversation a while back and I think you can somehow manage to get to it if you have little baby hands.

Yes that is right there is minimal room down there. I have found a spare one in a breakers near me all I can do is take a note how I remove from the car ready to install on to mine. Am hoping baby hands will do the trick lol..

Yea I think that's right, the HVAC box is different in 96 and you can get to it from the glove box side.
