Default Back seat smells like vomit.

So my wife didn't properly clean milk my daughter spilled in the back seat. So, a few weeks later, I get in her car, and the car now smells like vomit. I removed the back seat so it can air out. Any tips on cleaning the seat? The foam smells like vomit really bad. Should I hose down the whole seat? Please help, I can't stand the smell especially on a hot day.

I would just use some leather cleaner to clean the residue on the seats. Also use some spray on underneath the seat:

Also leave some coffee beans in there. Might sound stupid but it will eventually neutralize the smell.

Best of luck and let us know how it goes.

Well, none of that works like a thorough clean.

Rent a textile cleaner and get a good cleaning agent for it. Take out the back seats, go over them with the machine 2-3 times properly, and they will look and smell as good as new.
Mine had chocolatestuffs, coffeestains and smelled of cigarettesmoke, got it all away in an hours worth of work.

I had this same problem a while back in my wife's car. My 3 y/o (at the time) spilt chocolate milk down the side of his seat, in and around the center console (a Pacifica has a center console for the middle seats as well, I don't put the little one in the front) and all over the carpet. Sure enough, a week later, the car smelt horrible. After several cleanings, it finally started to go away, and now it's fine. I feel your paint, and I hope you can get rid of the smell soon, because it sure does suck!

I'm with Krip on this one. Although try grinding the coffee first; I've found that it absorbs smells a little faster. Try the cheaper methods first and if they don't work rent a machine.
