How much refrigerant does it take to fill up the A/C?

how bout in the 99 1.8t? how do i kno if i need to recharge my ac? oh by the way when i turn my ac on, and checked the tubes where the ac are connected like the tubes at the sides of the filter it is wet and cold, what do you guys think the problem is? or shoul i say is it a problem or its just nornal, its not wet as in super wet it has just some moist.

tha ts prolly just condensation so im hoping thats normal... but i could be wrong.. we should wait till the guy that knows EVERYTHING gets back and ask him

if u want cold ac its most likly your cabin filter replace that first

I thought drawing a vacuum on the system is only required when it is opened up for service, like when replacing the compressor or one of the lines? I have used those bottles with good results.
