Important coolant info needed
Okay this is what I'm working with now. I have a 1996 Audi 2.8 and I have noticed over the last few months my coolant has gone down a little in the overflow. Not under the min line but maybe in another month or two I'll need to add some more coolant. This is where I have my question, I looked online and in my manual it states that I need g11 blue coolant. But I currently have pink coolant in it ( bought it like that ). I know not to mix coolants but I'm wondering if the pink coolant is the newer g12 coolant that audi's take but I'm not sure. Are all pink coolants g12? Is there a way to find out if the coolant I have is in fact g12 or would it basically be a guess? Might just do a completely flush with g12 to be positive. What do you think?

Yah, I'm not sure what I want to do yet. I also think it's g12 but I'm not sure if I would want to risk adding some g12 coolant to it not knowing exactly what is in there.
