Default My Update Thread! adam044

It was suggested that I make an update thread so here it is! I'll try to post as many pictures as I can when I do something.

Basic background of the car: 2000 A4 Quattro 1.8T, 131,000 miles, 5 speed manual. Silver. I am the 3rd owner.

Most things that I have done since I got the car (in order from oldest to newest):

4 new spark plugs
Thermostat changed
Lower bumper valance installed (was missing when I purchased the car)
Black plasti dipped front grill (Current page)
Black plasti dipped read badges (Current page)
DIY removal of orange reflectors from the headlights w/ chrome bulbs (Current page)
Custom exhaust installed by Lou's Custom Exhaust in Kingston, NH (Current page)
License plate bracket trimmed

Trimmed the rear bumper mount so that the extra black plastic no longer sticks out. Still need to clean up some of the old glue that was covered by the plastic. I will also be getting a simple black license plate frame to finish off the look.

Lookin' good! Got any before pictures? I bet the change from when you got it is pretty drastic.

Yes I believe I have some. I plan on putting them up later today. Just ran out of time last night.

^ Not bad sound, did you do a full exhaust or just a muffler? Without a doubt better sounding than the in-audible stock exhaust

I did about a little less than half way back. He said the sound would be about the same if I was to go all the way back. It's 2.5 inch into the stock piping. In the future I can always do the rest they said. This was $350 the complete exhaust would be pushing $600, the flex pipe is the main reason for the increase since that alone is around $150.

I'm very happy with how it turned out. Both my cars actually have the same tip. They just happen to fit so well on both.
