It was! I showed up a bit too late and missed the meet basically. Snapped a few pictures before everyone took off.

 

I was in the group of guys near my B5 and then on the mound under the shade.

For a while I just saw you sitting in your car. I didn't know if you were leaving or just waiting.

The other AZ guys from Sacramento and I were just having fun joking around about the show.

 

Yeah I was waiting to leave. I got there, parked, walked around and took a few pictures, everyone started to bail so I took off.

I've only met a few of the AZ guys and just saw inked up as he was leaving.

 

It was Ed (B8 S4), John (TTRS), John's son, and I that were standing around. We ended up leaving after everyone left.

The meet was fun, but unplanned.

 

Still bouncing around between projects. Spent a few hours filing away at the intake manifold again. I got most of the big stuff done with power tools, but to get the smaller stuff you can't replace hand tools.

Spent a lot of time getting the casting marks out of this area.



Working on getting a uniform radius at the base of all the runners (for absolutely no reason since no one will ever notice.) Lots of shaving was done here.





Mocked up with the throttle body. Pretty clear the throttle body needs more work!
