Started work on the intake manifold. This is after about 45 minutes of hand sanding with 80 grit.

Sorry my hand sanding skills aren't up to par. I'll work on that just for you.

Your manifold looks nice for a half-polish.

I just worked on the top and had done some light work on a couple of the runners.

This weekend I'll probably take it over to my dads where he's got all the tools.

I was browsing the Audiworld articles and saw one about modifying the lower grill on the stock bumper with a chrome ring to match the grill. Since I got out of class early today and was bored I decided to do this little mod.

It was easy, but I had to deal with a stripped screw holding the license plate frame on which I hadn't expected. Getting the strip around the corners without totally deforming it was the most difficult part of the install.

Over the weekend I put a K&N air filter in and started to replace some of the one time use hose clamps with screw style clamps. Its a work in progress!

Heres a quick picture until I can go take some real shots.

I forgot to post this picture of my cabin air filter before I changed it...

It was even nicer today . I'm sure it was warmer over the hills where you're at. So do any of the bay area peeps ever have meetups?

When I had my RX7 we had a nice meetup/BBQ on treasure island one day.
