Couple of questions regarding replacing 2.8 valve cover..
Well I plan on doing this this weekend, I'm not going to be taking off the front end because I'm clueless of the serpentine belt timing. So I'm just removing my intake, all the engine covers, and going to town. A few questions, if I'm not mistaking the cylinder coils are just removed by yanking up on them? Also I read I need to tighten the bolts to 7lb, which tool can I use for this? Do I really need it?

ahaha.. it was really early when I wrote this, I've taken apart most of my engine before, i changed the timing belt myself, I just had a friend position it. Obviously I'd rather not go through the whole process again.

your whole first post is scary D:
dont take off the intake to remove the valve covers. Pull the plug wires {not coils} and use a ten mm wrench there's 8 nuts on each one. remove the other few things in the way, that's all you need to do.
