Oil Filter Housing Leaking. Some Help Por favor.
Ok First I want to say that I'm stupid.
My oil light came on because it was low on oil. I went and got the oil, oil filter and tried to do the oil change. Aftet pouring the oil from the oil pan I went ahead and tried to remove the oil filter but it was just too tight to remove with hands, so I went ahead and tried with the tool wrench but still was too tight, aftet trying and using all my force, the oil filter turned together with the housing at that time I knew I would have problems, well I went ahead and kept forcing it til I was able to remove it. I put the new oil and oil filter and now the result is that I have a terrible leaking coming from the oil filter housing (idk if that's how is called). I know it was dumb. Anyways I'd like to know how could I stop that leaking. Would I need to replace the ''housing'' or what can I do to stop the leaking? Thanks in advance guys.

the tube that the filter screws onto needs to be tightened back into the housing nice and tight before you screw the filter on... Its not that big of a deal, just make sure its snug in there with a wrench before putting the filter back on.

So would I need to remove the oil filter back again and and tightened the housing? I thought it was welded idk. Thanks for the info.
