You price is right there with ecs tuning though....but i like the guarantee of the kevlar belt...this would mean i would not have to worry about this maintainance job for 100k miles? inlcuding all the other parts???? Cause it will not make sense if I have to go in there and change a tensioner or pulley @ 60k or watever and not have to touch the belt.....not sure here.......
it does include the water pump, it is in the base kit, so its not a option in the drop down boxes, more or less it is a default part. Also we use the Graf metal impeller pump. The base kit includes the core components in doing a timing belt service, not a bunch of unnecessary parts. We have done countless timing belt services in house as it is a 800 dollar special with a full kit. I can assure you these are the only components you need. The belt will last beyond 100k, the only part i would keep an eye on is the tensioner damper, a simple inspection every 20k is recommended for this regardless of what kit you use since it is a hydraulic part. Other then that you are solid with this kit.

I was looking at your site but it shows that your kit is not for the ATW engine. Your description says its good for the 2000 A4 1.8t quattro, which is what I have, but I have a atw engine, i mean that is the only engine 2000 a4's came with, no? Do you guy shave a kit for the atw?

Got a stupid question here...how does one know which 1.8T engine one has?? AEB or ATW? Also, how about throwing in a rebuilt head on that warrantee if it breaks before 100K? Anyone know how much just the belt would be or if it's even worth the money? Thanks.

I'm in total agreeance here. Myself, currently dealing with damages from a defective timing belt. It's an expensive deal (about 400-500 dollars) even if you do it yourself, and hours upon hours of work. If you're going to guarantee to replace the timing belt... you have to gaurantee replacing what could break, if for instance you let your timing belt go for that extra 40k miles it's gauranteed for and it breaks, YIKES.
