Default EGR Temperature Sensor

I have been battling the check engine light in my 1997 Audi A4 2.8L Quattro 5 speed for a couple of months now, and I think I have narrowed the problem down to a malfunctioning EGR Temperature Sensor, as I have checked everything else apart of the EGR. I just need to know where the heck the EGR Temperature Sensor is. Thanks in advance.

Best of my knowledge only the S4 had EGT sensors. Of you mean the EGR valve, a search on the site will locate the info you need.
