Default Trunk lights and license plate lights

Hey everybody,
I was wondering if anybody could give me clues why would the interior of my trunk not have any lights on.. (all of them)
Also, the lights for the license plate don't turn on...

I was wondering if it could be one of the fuses, but I don't have the manuel of the car, so I don't know which one it could be.
I checked the plastic covering the fusage box for clues but without any luck [of has the numbering].

Thx for your help all!
Anybody has an idea what it could be..

A quick look at the schematics and it looks like fuse 4 is for your license plate lights, but could be the bulbs. It looks like the trunk lights go through the central locking control module...

Good news, a closer look and it looks like you should check fuse 38 (should be 15 amp) for the trunk lights. The license plate lights are 5 amp. Do you have a diagram of the fuse numbers?

I'll go check it out asap! There's a diagram on the plastic covering the fuses, it indicates the numbers of the fuses.
I have the same model as you "99.5 A4 Quattro 1.8T" :P\
Thx again man!!!

They are both fine :/ :z

This makes things more complicated -_-'

I'm going to check tomorrow if All of the lights bulbs in the trunk are broken :P
If not, what could it possibly be??

For the license plate, I would still suspect the bulbs are bad. For the trunk, I have NO idea. According to the schmatics, the two aren't even closely related, but I could be waaaayy off. Guess you'll just have to check the bulbs and go from there...
