Wheel bearing replacement. How difficult?
My wheel bearing is crapping out on me? How hard are these to replace and are there suggested replacements while I'm in there?
Also my abs light is on. It went off for awhile but came back on. Ideas?

Rear wheel bearings require a press. Replace both at the same time.
What I did: ordered OEM kit for both rears.
Removed both rear knuckles, brought to Pep Boys, paid mechanic $80 under the table to do both, re-installed.
Make sure you mark the position of the eccentric washers on each knuckle.
Make sure you preload the suspension using a jack before torqueing the suspension bolts to spec.

I went ahead and bought a Harbor Freight press on sale to do mine, pretty easy. And also good to have around, as the fronts soon went, then the rears got noisy again 10k miles later (NAPA bearings, under warranty, 50k on the replacements, YMMV).
The ABS sensors are very sensitive to their position when it comes to popping codes. Push them in until the pickup sits against the wheel, then back off ever so slightly (I forget the spec off the top of my head, but its something tiny like 3mm).
