2002 B6 5 Speed Manual to 2004 B6 Manual Transmission Conversion
I am asking this question because every other conversion I've seen is for an AUTOMATIC to a MANUAL conversion. I have a 5 speed manual transmission, and am planning on swapping to a 6 speed.
I don't care what any ones opinions are on what I should or shouldn't do. It's my car, it's what I want to do. I have the time, money and can get a hold of any required parts for the swap(if needed). The transmission I have has 19,xxx miles on it, as do the rest of the parts. Better condition then my 103k miles by a long shot.
My question is. Am I able to do a direct swap without having to change out parts past the transmission. In other words, will I need the, drive line, rear differential, etc.
Any help is much appreciated. Again, I don't care what your opinion is on whether or not I should do it. I don't care about that.
Thank you in advanced.

MOTHER EFFIN ALERT Before you buy anything.
in most cases the rear differential is geared different from auto to manual. Also the driveshaft is balanced different.
You MAY encounter vibration.
Only way to be sure is to have an Audi Part dept run part numbers to see if they match.
Just some FYI
