Hey guys,

So I just drove my 03 A4 5spd from Boston to Seattle. My destination was a little south of Seattle and 50 miles out the car felt like it lost power to the wheels but the engine kept running.

I pulled it to the shoulder and turned it off and on again. the car starts, stays at 1k, sputters, drops rpm to like 300 then dies all in the course of about 2 seconds.

I had it towed to a near by generic shop and they are taking forever to diagnose, I'm thinking it's just because they're not used to working on Audi's. Anyway I just wanted to see what you guys think it might be. I dont have much faith in generic shops when it comes to our cars.

electronic fuel module...sound right??

anyone have a DIY for replacement, the shops asking $1100
