Default Help iPod OEM adapter

I need some help installing the OEM iPod adapter kit (8E0 051444) I picked up from the dealer.

I have the Symphony II radio out but the 20 pin connector is just strange. I have two cables with the kit, I'm using the harness that has a blue connector with 10 wires that needs to be installed into the OE black 20 pin connector by removing wires. I need to use a special Audi tool to remove the wires. Is this correct or have I missed something simple. Any links that show how to install the adapter. Thanks.........

(no external CD changer)

Well I did switch the wires, push them out of the blue connector and plugged them into the 20 pin OE connector. Connected the iPod & saw the Audi logo and all is good, plays great, with 99 songs in each of 5 tracks. Also I found more help from two other sources if someone needs some info.

How did you disassemble that 12 pin connector? I'm doing the same project and can't get it apart to add the additional wires from the IPOD integration kit harness. And what is a VAS 1978/4A release tool?
