Default B6 Hard to start, oil pressure light, CEL, Cam sensor, P0341 and P0010

Hey all, hopefully you can help me out with this.

A few weeks ago after getting an oil change, my 2005 A4 1.8T had an oil pressure light come on, noise from the engine and check engine light came on. We pulled the valve cover gasket to see if there was any noticeable damage to the cams or issues with sludge. We started the car with the valve cover gasket off to make sure there was oil getting to the top of the engine. We replace the valve cover gasket and found a hose at the back of the valve cover that had broke. We replaced the hose and plastic fittings that go under the intake manifold, replaced the valve cover gasket and change the oil and replaced the cam pos sensor. Reset the lights and test drove. Noise from the engine was gone, but the oil pressure light came back on and check engine light came back on. We then removed the lower sub-frame assy, removed the oil pan and found some metal in the oil pan and on the pick-up tube. We replaced the oil pump, o-ring, pick up tube, re-installed the oil pan, filled with oil, reset the lights and rechecked. The low oil pressure light stayed off, noise not present, but the car still takes a long time to start, usually have to turn the engine over several times, cycle the key and then retry, if you barely touch the gas, the car will start. Once started, the idle is OK, but it has vary little torque or power off the line until it builds boost. Check engine light is on and it gives two P0341 codes, CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR A and two P0010 CAMSHAFT POSITION ACTUATOR A codes. We pin tested the circuits and electrically, everything seems to come back OK.

In short, car takes a long time to start, has little or no power on the bottom end and has two codes P0341 and P0010.

Any thoughts, idea's you may have would be helpful.
Thanks,
Dean
