Default oil

is there any significance to using synthetic? better lubrication... i was just wondering because even though its the exact same engine size with a smaller turbo i am wondering if it compares to my LS/VTEC turbo where when I switched to synthetic it seemed like the turbocharger was "healthier"

I use penzoil ultra synthetic... it should be 0W-30 or in case you dont find that one....
5W-30... you can see it in the owners manual.

just one of the best car that I've ever had..... Its fun to drive because its a car that "girls looks at" because its beautiful. It has lots of features, it has a killer stereo. It has 170hp, triptonic transmission just fast and beautiful. Parts are cheap, and eassy to find, you can even chek on ebay, from logos to engines... and even cars!
All you have to do is manteinance, change oil and oil filter every 3k miles, coolant, breaks.... general stuff.
Theres even a page on the internet that has like an auto parts specially for audi but I dont remember the name of the web page!
just buy it.... and you may want to chek that it doesnt have more than 50k miles. Beautiful car in any color!!!

awesome!
just reassured everything that was wondering about. im tired of my focus and all the problems its had. it was a good first car for me but im ready to move. ill post pics when i get it and prob ask some questions about some of the ones i look at. it may take a little while to save the money but i think it will be worth it.

I use Mobil 1 and a K&N oil filter. I change the oil every 2500 miles. There is an oil spec technical letter for the VW 502.00 oil requirement that you can use as a good guide for picking which oil you want to use. Just make sure you change the oil often. Its cheaper than extensive engine work.
