Help!?!? Oil change/spark plug change
Hello everyone. I have searched for pictures on how to change the spark plugs on my 2003 a4 quattro avant 3.0L V6 but with no success. Basically its really hard to get to the cylinder heads to take off the caps and replace the plugs. I bought new plugs and a spark plug ratchet/socket but cant get to the caps. Does anyone have a step by step guide on what to take off and how to change the plugs?? The best i could find was this...

Also, I need an oil change soon. I bought the oil, oil pan, and funnel and want to try it myself. I found some other posts about other engine sizes and years but not my specific one. I am a complete NOOB with cars so pics would be most helpful. Where is the oil pan plug. Do I remove put oil in the new filter? Thanks for all your helps. Best audi forums on the internet!!!

I know this for Audi A4 1.8T but it works the same exact way with 3.0 V6. I have 3.0 and this worked fine for me. :: a4mods.com :: - The Premiere Audi A4 Modification Guide and Pictures Library

Thank you. I hadnt found that guide. The only difference is with the 3.0 there is no room to unscrew the coil packs. You have to take the airbox out and the antifreeze, which im scared to do because I dont want to mess anything up. I bought a chilton manual online to help me out with everything as well.
Is the oil change pretty easy? Just drain it, plug it back up, put new oil/filter in and im done? Do I need to pour anything through it after I drain it to clean it? Thanks again.

not to mention the 3.0 has small screws that hold the coilpacks together as a unit. U will need to remove those in order to get the coils out. As for the coolant resivior just undo the screw and lift and pull. It has one screw and two quick snaps to hold it secure but is very simple to remove. Take your time with it and feel free to ask questions we are all here to help.
