Default Radio Code

Hey Everyone,
I was wondering what was the best way to go about getting the unlock code for my factory bose head unit. Do I really have to go to the dealership, or is there any other way? Thank you all for the help

Unless you have the your radio manual you will probably need to go to the dealer. On a positive note you probably won't need it, while I can't confirm I haveheardit is generally only needed if moved to another car, orif you change yourecu I suppose.

Dealer unless you have the radio manual that came with your car, and the radio code card is still in there.

Some cars came with a small sticker hidden in the trunk with the code hand written on it. I found mine in the trunk, under the shelf in back of the rear seats, stuck to one of the cross beams. I had to really search to find it, so it is there (at least on some models).
