Page 19 in the manual. I do it everytime I get the oil changed. With the car off, hold the Wrench button, start the car, press the "0,0" button. Service interval be gone!

Guy:
Good info.
Question: How do I set the service interval to 10K miles? My dealer set it to that after my first service, but now that I've done my own service and reset the light myself, it's counting down in 5K intervals again.
I thought I found the answer on this site before, but now all I can find are the zillions of posts about simply resetting the service indicator (and not changing the actual INTERVAL from 5K to 10K, or any other value for that matter...).
Don't have a VAG, don't want a VAG, etc.
Thanks in advance!

Well you may not have or want it etc. But, heres the kicker, to set variable service intervals you definitely need it. Go to the dealer they'll do it. Just think a few trips to the dealer and you could have instead spent that money on Vag-Com.
