Default Fuel economy and higher octane fuel

I have an Audi A4 3.2FSI Quattro (2006) and currently use standard unleaded fuel (Ron 95). Would I notice any extra benefit using Super Unleaded (Ron 99 or higher) in power and/or fuel consumption?
Thanks
Allan

I don't know much about the 3.2, but it's certainly possible.

I would think that you'd notice a difference. The timing would advance and you should get more power. I think I notice a difference when I use 91 in my Golf and 87 is the minimum recommended. Maybe it's all in my head. But in theory, there should be some power gains. If I had higher octane gas available in my city, I'd use it. Just be sure to stay away from ethanol blends. Ethanol is not good for the seals.
