Default Misfire/Hesitation above 2000 rpms

I have a 2005.5 A4/B7 2.0T Tiptronic with about 110k miles. I have a hesitation/ sputter when accelerating past 2000 rpms. I do not have a light, but I do have VAG. I checked and there are no codes stored. Ive already had the sw update, coilpacks, hp fuel pump and cam follower repalced. Any ideas whats next, or can someone tell me how to use the VAG while driving to run a test. Thanks guys.

Look in data blocks 15-16&17 in address 01 ecm. That should be the data blocks for misfires. Have someone else drive the car while looking at the misfire counters & see what happens.

My 05.5 was hesitating and what felt like surging once in a while. Never got a CEL. I replaced both my PCV and DV at the same time as both were original, and the problem went away. DV had very small tear in it. So, it was either one or the other, or a combination of both. Never had any sputtering though, but as I understand it a failing PCV can cause a wide range of symptoms.

Just something to consider.

I would beat on it..... push it hard, force a fault to appear. Something like that is being monitored but maybe just low enough to keep it from triggering

No I'm not gonna push it for a code. That's asking for trouble. I let off the gas and just keep it under 2K. Could it be the turbo control valve?
