Oil consumption Fail = New Piston rings ??
My car went through the oil consumption test twice. Failed with a consistent burn of about 1 quart for every 800 miles.
Audi dealer says they need to replace the piston rings and will need the car for two weeks.
Does this make sense and long term should I ditch this car before other major issues crop up. This would have been a very very expensive fix if it was not covered by the CPO which will run out in 6 months.
